William Behrens has more than 25 years of experience in renewable energy systems design, installation and service. Bill earned a BS in Electrical Engineering, a BS in Management, and a PhD in Environmental Economics from MIT. Upon completing his doctorate he taught briefly at Dartmouth College, then moved on to a career in construction and eventually renewable energy contracting. He has been involved in the energy and construction fields for the last 30 years. He is also a co-founder of The Green Store in Belfast, Maine.
Bill has overseen the design and installation of more than 50 megawatts of PV in northern New England. He has led the introduction of solar PPA financing into the region through the development and construction of over 50 projects that are owned and operated by two subsidiaries, ReVision Investments, LLC (Maine) and ReVision Investments NH, LLC (New Hampshire). These projects, identical to what is offered in each portfolio, all provide solar electricity to towns, schools, non-profits, and universities throughout the region. Bill is a resident of Camden, Maine.
